TREATMENT:

A typical Botox treatment begins with an assessment of your muscle movement and anatomy to identify the source of the lines that concern you. Remember, no two faces are alike! The injection process is nearly painless and typically takes less than 10 minutes.

RECOVERY:

There is no downtime associated with this Botox treatment, allowing you to return immediately to work—making it the perfect lunchtime procedure—or resume your usual activities. However, I recommend avoiding your workout for the day and steering clear of any facial massaging or treatments for at least 24 hours.

RESULTS:

DETAILS TO KNOW:

- Blood thinners, such as aspirin, vitamin E, and warfarin, may increase your risk of bruising.

- Certain medications can enhance Botox's effectiveness (like aminoglycoside antibiotics), while others may diminish it (such as chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine).

- You do not need to discontinue any medications prescribed by your doctor before your treatment.

- It is advised not to receive Botox treatments if you are pregnant or nursing.
